Discover Piano Scales
Select a Note and Scale
- Use the piano interface to select the root note of the scale you wish to explore. For example, choose F# (or Gb as its enharmonic equivalent).
- Then, select the type of scale you're interested in, such as Natural Minor, from the options provided.
View Scale and Chords
- Upon selecting a scale, the tool will display the notes within that scale on the piano interface.
- Below the piano, you'll see a section titled "Chords in Scale," which lists the diatonic chords that naturally occur within the chosen scale.
- Another section, "Similar Scales," might provide alternatives that contain some of the same notes.
Explore Chords in Detail
- Click on any chord in the "Chords in Scale" section to see how that chord is constructed and to hear how it sounds.
- The piano interface will highlight the individual notes of the chord.
